In fact, their name is an acronym from the famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which translates, "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Originating in Kobe, Japan over fifty years ago, ASICS® products were introduced to the United States in 1977. They brought with them an incredible story of athletic performance and technical advancements.
